Meral Değer studied at the Department of Graphic Design
at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul and received her masters degree in 1983.
She continued her education in jewelry design and techniques between 1995-1999,
glass design and techniques between 2004-2009 at the Glass Furnace Foundation, Istanbul.
Between 2000-2003, she lectured at the Istanbul Yildiz Technical University in the Department of Applied Arts.
She lives and works in Istanbul.
